FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Honours Thesis Students:  Interviews for the 2021-22 term will occur in early April 2021.

Dr. Till accepts one or two undergraduate students each year to complete a research project in her Lab.  Projects are research-intensive and are suitable for students with interests in clinical neuroscience, developmental neuropsychology, and environmental health.  Honours thesis students are expected to attend laboratory meetings and to interact with other members in the lab.  Students who are hoping to pursue graduate level training in medicine, clinical psychology, or another field related to health care are encouraged to apply.

How to apply?  Potential honours thesis students should apply to Dr. Till with a written statement of research interest, a current CV, and an unofficial transcript. Applications should be submitted by March 15th of the year preceding the thesis.  Students should have at least a B+ average and a solid background in statistics and research methods (past students have had a GPA of 8.0 or above).  Students typically begin their thesis study in May or June. More information about completing an undergraduate thesis can be found in the Psychology Undergraduate Thesis student handbook.

Volunteers and RAY students:  We are always pleased to hear from  York U undergraduates with an interest in volunteering in the lab.  For consideration, please email your academic transcript (unofficial), a cover letter outlining your interests, and a CV to Dr. Till (ctill@yorku.ca).
