RESEARCH INTERESTS 

I have a general interest in individual and population health. Previous work included projects on paediatric and adult diabetes, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and obesity. I am passionate about prevention of disease and ill health including the study of modifiable risk factors, as well as, health care quality and healthcare outcomes across Canada. I hold a Master of Science from the School of Public Health and Health Systems at the University of Waterloo where I conducted research on cannabis use among individuals in inpatient psychiatric care. 

 

OTHER INTERESTS:

In my spare time I enjoy building websites, trying new restaurants, reading, and spending outside being active. Having lived out in Western Canada for two years, I love to hike mountains with beautiful views.
